When I was going to Prime, took the bus from Sioux City to Omaha had an 8 hr layover.Met a guy in Omaha who was also going to Springfield because that's where he lives and Prime is located,we sat together the entire trip.Made the long busride more bareable. And one other time met a guy who was heading back to Washington. So with the right company its actually kind of nice.

You only have to take greyhound if you want them to pay for your transportation... the girl that was in my orientation class flew in.. they company reimbursed her the amount of a greyhound ticket....
Considering how many dont make it through orientation.. if it were me i would go the cheapest route too... why pay to fly someone there only to have them not make it through to hire... -
There's an outfit in my area, that hauls train engineer's in a mini-van back to their home terminal(?)or visa versa. Must be a crummy job, as they are always looking for help.
Railroads have their own HOS rules to deal with. I seen them stop on a siding miles from anywhere where the crew ran out of hours before the run was done due to delays. The van hauled the fresh crew out to the train and brought the other one back in. Hmmm."semi" retired Thanks this. -
Hi Chinatown, wait a sec. I'm trying to get up enough nerve to write "Cherry Blossoms", and now you're suggesting the Ukraine? I'm confused. Besides, with a woman from the Ukraine,( they'd probably love to get out of there now) I'd be scared I'd wake up tied to the bed with my wallet gone. Not so with an Asian gal, though.

Heard they have parking for planes though.....
