Now I have looks like an old intertrashional . I wouldn't call it hideous but its awfully close I'm actually sorely disappointed in Kenworth over this

 

Their Just So Simple , There really is not much to them as I know you know.

I have been poking around and familiarizing myself with my first truck the 97 n-14 International.

Love the simplicity of the mechanicals and also the thought put into the bunk heater a/c system hidden under the passenger seat with a plenum running under the passenger foot well all with cable controls.

Can’t imagine chasing sensors and endless wiring issues.

Wish I had a mechanical engine and even though I have dealt with injection pump failures on those in the past in the marine world you knew what was wrong immediately.

It either ran or it didn’t run. All you need is fuel- air - and compression.

Everyday is within a 100 pounds of 50,000 in the tank. Tare is 29800 Have to watch the grocery shopping sprees being im living in the truck.

Ps Still love the story of the engine swap on the side of the freeway

I used to think Volvo was uncool. Until I got one! I luv mine. Ya, it’s not tough and ###### to be in a Volvo, but I look good in anything.
