    ***THIS IS SPAM***
"Bigbellytrucker" AKA "tapeworm" is busy explaining to you how +1 was always intended to work. Squeezing out terminal rats. I enjoy the fact he talks like he has ever seen a pre plan +1 or not. I hate to even say this but I simply cant stand his posts anymore. He is absolutely right it is easier for veteran swifty's to get the idea of Windows because we have done the loads before.
Maybe parasite has been reading ppln's (pre-plans) longer then myself. Please anyone reading this forum or this post Swift is a good company to get training at in the proper conditions and I promise that not all the office staff are this bad. If you don't want to take my word for it just look at how many posts tapeworm/bigbellytrucker have thanked me.

Bigbellytrucker is not tapeworm. I happen to know tapeworm personally. Prior to becoming a dm he was a swift driver and still gives road test at his terminal

Even more ridiculous is my latest sf.

Got a pplan, turned it down with new times.
It came back to me with a x-0900 delivery window.

When I get the load assignment the delivery had been shortened to 0545.

I did my loaded call with 0900, and after a few minutes I got a message that it was later than the appointment time.
Then an 'important' message that was only a period - so... !.

As I was hitting traffic lights I composed and sent a reply to that message that I had agreed to 0900 in the pplan.
The message back was "OK THX"

Then a couple days later I find out that I got a service failure.

I don't know how you put up with that Moose I would have quit right then and there. Even if they take it off that's not the point.

    So, what is the point?

Is it quit a job just because you don't like something now and then?
Or because you are treated unfairly sometimes?

If that is the case, then I suspect you will not hold any job very long.

My 17 year old daughter seems to be of your mind - just quit when things don't go exactly your way.
Don't put up with anything or anyone. As soon as you find things not to your liking - just leave, no matter who it might involve or hurt in the process.
Because "I", and what I want, are the most important things in the universe.

yeah things happen, the people who just up and quit are not being smart. Yeah I have threatened to quit many times but I dont because I have priorities with a family to take care of, I find another job before I ever quit the current...

Use that little triangle button and report what you might think is suspicious activity. That's why mods are here instead of inciting an argument and sidetracking a thread. I checked and there is no indication of a duplicate account.

There is no virtue in being a perpetual quitter, nor is there any in letting yourself get walked all over. I have never been treated like that in my almost 3 years at Swift and if I did I wouldn't take it lying down. Swift is not the only trucking company in existence.

Well, many drivers go through much more than I have ever had to.

I get jacked around, every now and then.
I might even get a sf when I don't actually deserve it. It happened once before.

It's not really about being a quitter, or allowing yourself to be walked on.
It's more about learning the system that you have to work under, and making the best of it.
It's about knowing when to fight, and when to simply accept it.
    Poker, in the trucking world.

I like my job, and for the most part I like Swift.
Even with that last service failure I have a 99% on-time rating, so my job is not threatened by it.
It bugs me that certain people seem to have to play certain games, but that's life in the real world.

My DM fights for me. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses. Again, part of life.

But I've gotten enough experience in Life to learn some things.
One of them is, don't walk out simply because you don't like what happened today.
