Why I hate the Flying J in Phoenix

What do you mean a regular spot? A full slot in the truck area or a slot upfront for the rv? If you were pulling a trailer and arrived to a full parking lot but a bobtail was taking up a slot wouldn't you be upset? Same as a rv parking in the truck area because trucks parked upfront in rv slots. Sounds like you were basically in the wrong area and that J did right by letting you know. Just my opinion as all truck stops should enforce the parking rules for everyone.

 

That place is always a last resort. Filthy store and showers, and one of the worst Dennys.

 

It was a sad day when TA took Dannys over.

 

I got lots of hide holes in warehouse districts if u guys ever need a spot to park. Just street parking but it's all good spots. Just shoot me a pm if u need one

 

yeah, I had a list of those too. One time my manager was amazed at how close I could get to the client the night before. I grinned and said I got a few tricks.

 

When going to Phoenix, I would usually stay at the TA near Tonapah if approaching from the west, or the one near the 10-15 junction if coming from the east. Usually a place there at the big lots.

 

I would make a sign and tape it on my window.
No! I don't want company!
