Op, I'm not understanding what you wanted to happen. You didn't like the four wheelers driving, and you want the cops to come and ticket or arrest because you say so? Surely you are not that nieve.

Then you stalk the other driver and instigate a confrontation that may have ended badly, putting cdl at risk. I'm not even a driver yet and I'm very conscious about protecting my future cdl.

Although you make a good point, how often is it the other way around for us drivers? There's no reason I as a driver cannot call in on anyone who may seem to be driving unsafe and make a public complaint for the record. Tracking the guy down was pretty bold tho. I agree that that could have ended any number of ways but in our information age, it always makes for good youtube vids.

bergy I here you and I will haft to say. That's a first for me. No body likes to be confronted especially when you repremended. You never know what they're going to do.
I'll advise anybody in this situation to have there voice recorder or video recorder out and ready just to show you were not doing anything illegal. Like in this situation they started to fabricate all kinds of stuff.

And just for the record I don't know if you understood what happened here but I was run off the road. Worst case, it could of ended in a roll as I was on a sloped shoulder.

You might be a real passive guy, but ya that kinda pissed me off a little. If anything I wanted an officer to come and right em up or even take a report as a public statement so if they ever end up killing someone out their. There would be some kind of record of recklessness on they're behalf. And I would be glad to testify to.

I've done my share of confronting, including a fist fight at a traffic light, so I understand the aggressive emotion. I'm older now, and I really try to weigh my actions against the possible upside, and downside. That said, my pet peeve is texting while driving. If I am ever in an accident , or witness someone getting hurt because of this, I don't know if I would be able to remain calm.

My take away from this thread is the same as yours - further resolve to never drive without a dashcam.

I was laughing at that store clerk. Why would he even question your statement?

HE finds that hard to believe... give me a break.

Waaah. 11 years and you still let them get to you? Take a vacation man, get your head right.

Crying to your dashcam ain't a good picture.

I dont get the point. Back off and let them go.Lifes too short to chase down trouble. btw cops cant issue tickets for events they dont witness.

All I can say is I was pissed, this has already been talked about in the thread. As it is our right to make a public statement, file a complaint or confront someone.

People like this can kill someone, take a out a family, or ruin someone's career. I believe it's something that justified being addressed. And as a matter a fact an officer can cite someone on something they didn't witness, all they need is proof.

As they say a pictures worth a thousand words, a video's gotta be worth a million. Had I filmed him running me off the road or apologizing, that would of been enough. That's what this whole thread is about.

Some people walk away from everything in life. Most are just coward's that don't have any back bone. They just allow themselves to be walked on in everything they do. I don't know about you but I try and not let people violate me or my rights, weather it be out on the road or any wear else.

Like I said,I believe it justified the actions, I just regret not recording it from the begging.

I maid the vidio to to show my point of view why it would be a good reason to have a dash cam. You guys with your spineless comments just support what I have to say. It's evident that even a lot of your fellow truckers can't be relied upon in times of trouble

Take it or leave it, but please leave the bs out.
