You can have the plant loads. I’m on one now. $1350 for 521 loaded miles 1-3 hr pick and 2 2 hr drops. Almost empty now, finally. Got to clean the dirt/ mud out of trailer in 80 degree weather. I’m sure this should be a $1800 Load. But it’s what I got. One day deal, if I can get loaded yet today. Haven’t booked yet. Plenty of freight today. Rates can only go so low, I’m not worried about it. They can’t compete with Me. They can try, but I have very low overhead, only need to pay Myself. Not make a profit. When I do better, I pay myself more.Sometimes your up sometimes down. Just a fact. You can’t get blood out of a turnip.

Ive talked to a few, who have loaded for them, I’ve heard basically the same thing. Wait around for a long time. Then get the load and run it ASAP. As far as pay, it was good $4.00 or more pm for 500 mile ave trips. But the deal is this, if you can make good now with them, do it. Same with any of the others. The only thing guaranteed is that it will change. Then do something different. No telling what Amazon Logistics will morph into over next few years.

I’m doing between $3.50 -$4.00 outta Ga. (my dispatchers customer) and luck to hit $2 per mile back. I’m pulling a step deck.
