i drove intermodal for JB out of KC back in 2013, pretty sure we had peoplenet back then. maybe it's just taking them this long to get to your fleet?
Why is JB Hunt switching to Peoplenet from Qualcom?

Well I think I am finally getting used to peoplenet now.
Too bad I no longer work for jb hunt, got fired from them last year. When they say you will be automatically fired for pressing the accelerator when you have the cruise control on they mean it! -
i got semi-fired from JB too, actually i resigned in the morning over something but realized it was hasty and called back in the afternoon to retract my resignation. they said too late. yesterday i was reading how trucking companies get $10k from the gov/our tax dollars for new hires. i wonder if that is why they are so quick to fire? that would explain why they were glad to get rid of me and they fired you for such nonsense as stepping on the accelerator. as if they are looking for excuses to get rid of you so they can't get another $10 from the Gov for replacing you? i mean that's why they killed so many "corona virus" patients on ventilators, because they get $37K from the gov for every vent use. and they get money for every death they list as "corona virus" which is one reason the death numbers are artificially inflated.

Fired for stepping on the accelerator?

Omnitracs is very expensive, I was a shop foreman for a fleet of 450 trucks and over 1200 trailers. Monthly bill was 21k a month. So you can imagine what JB is paying

We had Omnitracs at my work and they got rid of it.
