Freight is slow right now, since covid. Too many trucks trying to pull less freight. This is why I always suggest you find the job before you go to school. You wouldn't book a wedding ceremony before you found the woman to marry. CDL school can be as short as 3 weeks and that is not enough time to fully research where to work, IMO.
Got to say, without question, Chinatown is TTRs finest asset. Here, he just listed 32 prospective jobs,( whether they are currently hiring could be debatable) and I'm calling a whiner. ( not Chinatown). If someone can't find a job today, with as easy as this site, Chinatown especially makes it seem pretty easy, well, I can't finish that cordially. One thing I learned when job hunting, and believe me, it wasn't this easy, someone said no, I went to the next outfit that had a truck sitting. Trouble was, back then, the truck was sitting because the previous driver quit. Today, while there may be a temporary lull in the action, summer will do that, but Falls a comin', and shipping is huge. Truck drivers remain the #1 job for hire, heck, in the time it took to write this, 5 more quit so if you can't find a job, the problem lies within.
If you already have a CDL and just need training I would highly recommend Roehl Transport. They will give you industry-leading training and set you up for future success. Just don't go through their GYCDL program!
Chinatown is great for helping people find jobs. Truly an asset. Really hope people don’t take his help for granted.
i am not taking any one for granted that's what happen already other wise i would not posting this message
it’s a touch rough out there right now, grab something you can manage for a few months and then jump when your mode ideal job appears
