I had a green Pete 379 with a stripper pole. Mirror on the ceiling 285 wheel base. I have grown up a little.
For those that think he is compensating listen when a cow hauler comes through the lot low and slow. You will hear the freight haulers screaming put up your old lady a bull hauler is coming she wants to run off with one.
Don't yall know we got standards?
Why is this tractor so long?

No I just appreciate a truck that doesn't look like every other one of that model ever made. If you've got the room to maneuver everywhere you go a stretched out truck is the only way to go.Blackshack46 and Midnightrider909 Thank this.

They're all screeching to hide their wives and the bullhauler are thinking, "your wife looks like my freight"

Everybody should drive a show truck at least once in their life, or at least a really nice one.shogun, 389driver, mtoo and 1 other person Thank this.

Here’s one that’ll surprise you. My folks own a 2007 T600 with an ICT 120 inch sleeper, 275 inch wheelbase. My dad is all about driving, making money. My mom is the one who wants it to look good, a retired divisional manger with a major food company. A woman with a master’s degree in business and 7 figures in the bank.
She is the one who suggested going to chrome shops, wanting to make it look sharp. So, now it has a 14 inch drop visor, all lights have been converted to clear led (including 9 feet of lights on the bottom sleeper) a new grill, next is a chrome wrap around bumper, chrome window trim to match the visor height, and she wants lights underneath it lighting up the road. Interior wise she is looking for hardwood floors and a few little mods.
First thing tomorrow morning I am calling her to see what she’s compensating for.Last edited: Jun 6, 2018

I think it's a natural reaction. I mean, what is your immediate reaction when you see a 2018 silverado jacked up 10ft off the ground, snorkel system, big boy deer guard with a winch, and top dollar mud tires. Yet, you KNOW that truck will never see mud in its entire lifespan ... and if it does, it will be taken to the wash within the hour.
I think what makes the difference, is when you see this driver light up the town with his semi truck, and then drive circles around everyone when he gets on the road. Or pull freight that 95% of drivers aren't qualified to hook to. A pretty truck that gets put to work by its driver is always a cool thing to see.Feedman, blairandgretchen, Blackshack46 and 2 others Thank this. -
