Nope, because that’s the only way in and out of about 4 different ranches.

Theyre dim if thats why, pullimg a box or tall square load can drop my mpg .5 to .75, air resistance on truck, AND again on trailer / load

Once the gap hits about 3 or 4 feet it doesn’t matter. That’s when the air starts dropping over the back of the bunk and hitting the whole front of the trailer. People drive long trucks for the look and the ride, and if you’ve never driven one you won’t understand.

I totally get the stretched look, and have never seen one having a hard time maneuvering or even chilling out in a truck stop, they seem to know their "can do's" & "can't do's", and where it's safe to be.

Sometimes I see some stretched rigs with just a 36' flat top sleeper, hmm, guys got to be home very day I would imagine, or maybe a few nights a week.

It's really all down to a matter of personal choice. Some guys want the practicality of a stock truck and some guys want whatever the hell they want, they've earned it, they've had a vision, and there's nothing wrong with any of that. For those that think outside the box, I salute you!

To me it's like taking a good Chevy pickup and lowering it to the ground. You just ruined a perfectly good truck.
