I know a guy with 320 inch wheel base and he puts an absolute ####pile of miles of miles on a year. I don't know how he gets in the farmyards around here at all though.

That's what I mean. I mean out here we're on the East Coast. I have been to plenty of places where there is barely enough room for just a full size tractor trailer.

Maybe if he has to he pays the jockey to put his trailer in?

Thinking running cheapo trailer tires is how he gets away with it, not such a big deal if a culvert bites one. There are a lot of cow trucks out here running 300+ wheelbase, I hate running Chicago with my 275 even, but doubt that would improve with a 230 cabover either.

I to some extent understand the question why but I tend to lean towards why not. If it works in its application go for it. I don't have one like that but I sure do enjoy seeing them on the road.

    Why?
    Because they can.
    Because they like it.
    For attention.
    So people ask why.
    To stand out.
    Because it looks cool(to some)
    Because they can.

One way to get the answer to your question is ask the driver. Be sure to express your concern for their ability to maneuver the truck and also tell them that they don’t need all those lights.
Let us know how that works out for yao_O
