You should be grandfathered in. I've seen signs like that disappear around here lol. County roads here are all 80,000 lbs gvw legal year round. One time somebody put a sign saying "no trucks over 3 axles" on a county road shortcut of about 3 miles that everyone takes when going down to Huntsville, AL. That lasted about a week before somebody hooked a chain to it and pulled it out.

 

Changing the subject, I saw you cutting through on 127 here in Warren county a couple of weeks ago.

 

In a white FLD with a red stripe? Yeah that was me I cut thru there all the time. Probably had a load of cheese out of Manchester. What were you driving?

 

I was loading a tractor & baler on the right about a half mile from the asphalt plant . I have a single axle daycab freightliner, white with a brown stripe we use local,it was sitting on the right.

Lol... Ezrider...His truck is nicer than mine.. I followed his build on his Ytube channel.. I learned alot from watching him build Old Red.. I swapped a post or 2 with him on here just a month or so ago about LED turn signals... I would like to meet him someday.. watching him is what gave me the fortitude to take on this 85 project truck
