My favorite friend stopped by today and got me looking right for Tuesday departure.

That truck is nice. I think it's not aero trucks that I dislike the look of. I think it's actually the factory side skirts that cover the fuel tanks that look bad. Pull those off and show some nice tanks and some frame, and you got a winner.

Had a super nice Pete parked next to me in Twin falls yesterday. Grey with maroon color scheme. Had the same clean look as yours and probably first time I stopped to admire a newer aero style truck in person.

You’re gonna hate my new one then because I ordered the fairings under the cab and sleeper and I shortened it up 15”.

Oh man, the real travesty here is I don't think "Short FLD" is going to be a very catchy username!!

Personally, I prefer the look of a hood. But I'm also a realist - pull off the cabs, and you got two trucks side by side with the same power train and running gear.

Obviously I planned on keeping my FLD when I chose my user name. A few trucks later and here I am. Haha.

Didn't know boxes could do a split axle.

They were common among the rooster cruisers back when the 48footers were the norm. I used to pull a stainless steel 48 reefer with a spread. Had the dump switch on the front axle to make backing oh so easy.
