Call the quit line ! American Cancer Society . I did and im smoke free 1 month . Was a 2 pack a day smoker . Sometimes 3 depending on the traffic . 6th attempt at quiting finally think i got this habit kicked . For those of you fighting a cig addiction . You can do it ! If i can anybody can . Sounds corny i know but i just hope everyone quits especially truckers . Driving is tough on our health without smoking .

I have started and stopped many times over..for me it is not an addition issue as much as a want/enjoyment. I can go thru out the week and not think of smoking then I just do come one morning. When he does decide to quit for himself I will then quit cause he will not be able to handle me smoking around him when he is not. Sounds strange but it is not hard for me to just put it down and walk away
