There are some of us work for England (Or under a small fleet owner bearing Englands name like I am) because of various reasons , it don't mean we just fell off the pumpkin wagon there dude. in my case CRE works good for my current circumstances. Will I stay here forever? Defiantly not, but for now I need to do what I need to do to buy my own truck too.
Pretty unfair to stereotype a whole group of people in threads like this. The owner operator I am driving under is a small fleet owner under CRE because he makes the most money pulling freight for them. He started out with nothing and is just now paying off his 3rd truck. He has pulled for other companies, but none would pay as much as CRE.
Not too bad for a noob. He was determined and so am I. If it means to let some truck stop cowboy with nothing better to do than to ridicule me because the name on my trailer then so be it. I am going to maximize my profits too, even if it means to "gulp" have names like Shneider and CRE on my door, because in the end day I am out here to make money, not hand out in North Derkoter taverns bragging cuz I haul cattle![]()
why we laugh at cr england's newbies...

Anyways, who is it that you drive for again? -
yes your everyones hero
hope you did not get ptsd driving in that bad weather -
Agreed. I have never driven for a "bottom feeder". I did not go to a "CDL mill" to acquire my CDL. Yet there are some people on this forum that struggle to make 1 post without mentioning "bottom feeder" or "CDL mill".
I don't know if they feel threatened by the fact that most anyone with a CDL can do their job or what, but it's childish if you ask me how some of the "veterans" attack every new driver.Injun, hrtbr8kr and corneileous Thank this. -

I want to say this without it having a negative effect on anyone's perception of what i think about cre. Why does your boss broker off cre? How can he stay in business paying out well over 30% ? Why doesn't he use an independant broker like ch robinson, who charges alot less like 18-20% ? Per load? Is your boss on a lease to own program? The reason i ask is bdcause most companies like cre force o/o to purchase additional cargo ins on top of what thay already have (if any). But if he is just on a lease, then it will take anyone close to 4-5 months to pay off $15,000 in permits and ins, before they even see any profit? Why do any small fleets leas to cre when the can just go solo? It's more cost efficiant imo. Again, this is no negative remark fellas.

lol that's why I ask, they look frozen in time

Cr England has sucked for a long time, whoever owns it is just in it for $$
-
We're all in it for the money.
That does not negate the fact that England is run by a bunch of creeps...They are creeps for many other reasons than being in business for a profit.
