Why would anyone do this? New parts before returning the truck?

Paccar dealers usually have batteries on sale at $99.00 each.

 

$110 last September. X3.
$35 core per battery.

Installed them myself. And took the cores back.

Couple months back they were $85 but couldn't say they were matching brands. It was 2 different dealers.

About 10 years ago roadcall replaced 4 for $700. $100 per battery. So that was $300 service call.

 

That's not bad at all. Last battery I bought was for my pickup 2 years ago and it was $250 for a regular lead acid group 94. Probably would have been $400 from the dealer.

 

battery for my fatboy was $200 couple months back/ interstate battery brand not hd.

 

group 31s aren’t that bad, I put 4 in the truck last winter then the 2 group 65s I put in my old ford this spring, about had a hear attack on those

 

I just put a new AGM in my bike. Was about $120, can't remember the brand.

 

Agm everstart from Walmart for my bike..

7 years was the last one. Same battery. Only a couple bucks cheaper at that time.
