iv only driven one atm and it was a 2013 volvo i shift , i only put about 50k on it but cant say enough good about it .

 

I have driven Allison, eaton ultra shift and manual. Manual first, Allison 2nd, eaton? Never want another one again. Biggest piece of turd I EVER operated. EVER

 

If you ever get a chance drive the new Allison TC-10, yes, it is that good, (although it WAS just a test drive).

never had it in manual better mileage then the last truck with same specs but a 13 speed
you dont want to but the jake in stage 3 if you not buckled in
green bay to odessa ne cruise set at 70 once i got to I80 giving me
7.8 mpg is why the owners of any co like autos

 

yep cranky ...first trip with that volvo i took a heavy load from omaha to grand forks with cruise set a 65 and bucked a stiff headwind most of the way and it did 7.8 according to the ecm .

 

7.9 - 8.5 mpg here

 

That's why the megas are shifting. Makes sense.

 

Better mpg and less breakdowns.

 

When I cared about mpg I got best low 6's with a c-15 cat.
