Ok.The highest I can start is 3rd in perf & 4th in Eco modes.I would think there would be more programming options with the computer. I don't like economy mode 40MPH in 11th gear and the whole cab shakes it just seams gutless. I have been told that this is normal. It's great out on the highway just not so in the city. I understand most people are after fuel millage but I'm not . Just wondering if someone out there has had the same complaints and maybe found a happy medium?

My v8 Pontiac Grand Prix (2008) has the paddle shifters. But even with me just flipping the paddles, I can't shift as well as the automatic does. When I do a full throttle start, the automatic shifts just before the yellow line is hit on the tach...takes just a few seconds to hit yellow line in first gear. I don't think anyone could shift with the paddles better than the automatic does....but I don't know that for sure.

My 04 GTP supercharged V6 has a similar transmission with the paddle shifters on the wheel. Love that car!

Note: burnouts at every stop WILL eventually screw up the transmission
I guess even the upgraded performance tranny will eventually break. Gonna cost me about $1600 to get it rebuilt, too. Le pitiful sigh....
