    our autos run 80 green bay to left coast
    no problem all 3 have 20 year veterans that say they wish they had done it sooner
    i get 7 mpg with my 13 speed they all do better

    why? how about dallas/ft worth rush hour traffic.

    for those complaining about how an auto "feels" driven an new/newer volvo ishift lately? like butta. really smooth. volvo has it right, the others are playing catch up.

    I am not hating on it but these companies will do it to you multi year vets just like us newbs if you road test and fail and they find out you have been driving a automatic enjoy your training time.

    It is NOT on the state level, this is a federal regulation and it is already in effect.

    That may be true, I don't know. But it used to be up to the state, some states have been doing it for a while already, so its not entirely new

    So what's next, test in a day cab and you can't drive a sleeper? Test with a 10 speed cant dive a 13 Speed? Pull a 48' and you cant pull a 53'? Test with dry van can't pull a flatbed?

    Yes, and you'll also have to start logging your bathroom breaks along with the weight of them, which means each toilet will now come with a scale built in. Don't eat a lot of cheese and peanut butter. An overweight ticket will spit out of the stall wall.
