HEY HEY HEY, Dont lump all us bike riders in the same glass. That scares me to death when people do that. I have had a couple idiot riders do that to me in my car. And wouldnt back off. This carried on for 50 miles. If I had a cell phone, RRRRRRRR. I wanted to run them flat. I knew I couldnt but OHHH did I want to.

I seriously doubt that , maybe they are just the ones you notice because they are being stupid.
I know a lot of Harley riders that are also truckers (like me) and a lot more that are good safe riders.
There's a lot of generalizations going on in this debate that are simply just wrong.

i know a Lot of em...TOOO. Just never see anything but rude and discourteous when I'm in the big truck...EVERY SINGLE DAY,just like clock work, they do it every time. I too ride.:biggrin_255: But I'd never do what they do.

Ok y'all ,wanna hear something wild? Ok I knew you did. Well I figure everybody basically feels the same way..no one likes an arsehole on the road, that's a given. And we all just say "well they deserve this and that," I'm guilty too bc they make me so mad when they act stupid and put others in danger.

BUT ...after all this chat on this thread today, I witnessed a young man today wreck his bike on I-10 And let me tell you,I was choked up. He was hurt real bad! I felt so bad for him, just a young fella too. He passed me,very casual, not a care in the world, not too ####y but just not as cautious around the big rigs as I would've preferred, but not as bad as those other guys on the video. What I seen today,I wouldn't wish on anyone. Poor baby,Im pretty sure he'll make it,but it was very bad. I think he ran into the back of a car ahead of me. I couldn't really tell they all passed me and was about 4 truck lengths ahead of me,and by the time I went by his bike was on West bound side and he was on East bound side.

So I thinK it's normal for us to get mad and say blah blah blah, but I'm sure NONE of us would ever want anyone to be hurt, guilty or not of being stupid.. I wish somebody would teach these folks how to stay upright on these two wheelers and just how dangerous they can be when you don't respect them..UGH

    OK ..that's my 2cents...nitey nite drivers:biggrin_25518:

You just put yourself in the same glass and then tried to take yourself out of it. Only a small % drive that way. I dont, wont and have had to deal with idiots like them. I have learned that people who ride bikes do not drive them the same way they would drive a car, pickup, or big rig. Again some do, many dont.
