Honestly, I didn't know I was driving until 6. I thought when my trainer came out of the sleeper berth he would realize that we either needed to stop or takeover. A few energy pills and a Mountain Dew, I was safer (not safe). If there had been anyone else on the road, I would have made more of an effort to stop. I was sleeping on the bus most of the previous day, so you can call it intentional if you want, but you weren't the one in the truck.

    #### that good for nothing school of yours went from 6K to 8K and partly paid. With WIA money.. I seem to recall mentioning to you a couple months back why you didn't get WIA money to help pay for your school and you saying you didn't know about it.. You also said you didn't know HVCC had a truck school. The WIA folks would have told you to check with them first.

Now please remind the folks you made an illegal right turn resulting in a personal injury accident.. you failed your road test how many times? You went home from your 'Phase One' training without approval, which resulted in you being on a bus and being tired.. you told us you didn't tell your trainer you were tired and now you said he knew and didn't care..

Before you go off on me, I was unemployed for over two years.. I took this gig because *I* wanted too. You are in control of YOUR life, that is if it is God will.. At the moment I have no more patience for the inconsistent story you seem to want us to follow..

Don't know about your school, but in the four weeks I was in mine 3 people used WIA money to pay for their school. 50 people were there because the company they wanted to work for paid for the school. Only a handful paid their own way.

Losing WIA program will not affect the CDL mill companies one bit.. Companies like England and CRST will still pump out students at a high rate..

I was talking about Joe Blows Truck Driver Training School or XXX's Truck Driver Training school, they make all there money off the WIA, the secound school I went to Made OVER $1,000,000 in 2009!!!!!!!!!!! 95% was from the WIA! Think about it....thats allot of tax money paying to send crack heads and illegals to school....

I sincerely doubt the school told you the truth. My wife works for the office that administers WIA money for our state. If what you were told is true over 10% of the funds given to a state went to that ONE school.. Not possible.. WIA funds are not an endless bucket of cash. States are allocated money based on their unemployment rates.. that money is then dispersed based on need and covers some 100 some fields of study.. most of the money is pumped into the medical fields..

Losing it will not be a major impact on the trucking industry

The owner of the school told me that, while he was trying to make small talk. He might have exagerated about the 95% part but the Million dollars was confirmed by not only the instructors as they had a party to celebrate but also the head office lady who does all of the paper work and accounting, I didnt beleive him either but they all verified it...

They all lied.. you can believe me or not, but if the unemployment office sent over 200 student to them from all over the state before sending them to state run schools and spent over 10% of the WIA budget on that one school I would think even the feds would flag that one.

I have to concur with this assessment. I know everyone at my school had applied and only my wife and I were approved. They indicated they get very few students that are WIA approved.
