Most newer unlimited plans are downgraded ... Man I would love that little router , but at last ive got too much stuff as it is. Btw Xbox is a pain over wifi would love to run it wired. Big league lagg sometimes forreal.
I us a program called Connectify -me virtual router. Pain sometimes but cuts down on unnecessary hardware. I use almost all software ...pda.net and connectify-me. I wouldnt use wifi at all if I could basically could dump(ics) the internet over Ethernet.
The Centerpoint must have to be 12volts and few amps right , Try changing outlets seems odd to be affected by starting the truck. I doubt it would kill the batt , I figure the lights would do more harm. I guess it just depends on the truck

Also I wouldnt say faster than Verizon , really depends on your hardware. What real world avg. speeds are you pulling down? with that thing . I would say Verizon is more consistent. With Sprint the highs are high and the lows are Data roaming. Sprint pulls http://imgur.com/a/tYxkY

I thought they only had 4 towers? My buddy and aunt have them and never can talk when he's driving from San Diego back to Midwest cause he drops call every 5 minutes. My aunt has them and travels from Milwaukee to west ky and looses signal outside Chicago.

But I guess sprint does offer unlimited as well... so in that case everyone offers unlimited now

Here's how I get unlimited data on the cheap.

    Went to ebay.
Bought a flashed 3g verizon box.
I reload it every month with a $5 dollar prepaid card.

    You're welcome.

    zany_steverino Thanks this.

I am currently using a jet pack from Verizon. Its called the Mifi. I have Unlimited Data it is like $80 a month but definitely worth it as sometimes I use huge amounts of data using my laptop and watching videos and everything else.

I have a plan with Verizon (yeah I know , everybody hates that outfit) That uses a small mobile router they call Jetpack. Wherever I'm at with a signal I can get online with my laptop. Oh sure watching video is a problem because one movie eats up my data for the month. But I can go on the web and surf for hours, check email and other light chores with a minimal cost.
