A lot of companies don't care and don't even ask about misdemeanors.

I've gotten away with the same charge however they may frown upon loss of your license with deducted points which I don't have. Don't know what to tell you about that one. As far as the misdemeaner and having it exspunged, well you can do that but it will still show up on your DAC report. There's no way around it. If you were convicted that's also a different story because mine was dismissed in court but it still shows on my DAC.

I have similar charges and EVERY company I have applied at big or small have told me no. My last charge was back in 2000 almost 10 years ago and still a big ol' no. So I wish you the best of luck.
As for the "mill schools" you may get in and pass your tests and aquire a CDL and find out you wasted your money.
I too have thought about expongement and found out it depends on the state where you were charged. In my case it was NC. All I have to do is apply for an application for expungement fill out the necessary forms and mail it back to the clerks office. They put it through the ringer and send it on to a judge who decides if you are worthy enough and have proven yourself. If he passes you then you have to pay the fees, I think something like $150, and your record is expunged. In my opinion expungement is better than sealing because if it it sealed it will show as sealed when a check is performed. Whereas with expungement it will show NOTHING.
Good luck with your hunt and keep us posted as to what happens. I am more than interested to see where this goes.

Well, Just to update...I filled out the apps given to me by the Roadmaster Rep. I went this morning to turn them in. According to them they feel my history isn't bad. And that I should hear back from a company that will pre-hire me .They said that if I do enroll there I would be given more apps to fill out. I hope that something will go good in my favor. After reading the posts on here from those who have "been there, done that" I started to doubt my chances. Then the school makes me feel like I have a pretty good chance. Thank you to the ones who have followed this so far. I'll update when I hear more info.

I have listened to everyone on here...I'm still tryin..I meet the school requirement easy. I would think if they just wanted my money he would have tried to enroll me already. Maybe some schools/people are shady. This guy seems pretty honest.
