Prime, Kllm, TransAm, US Xpress, Swift, CRST, and Werner. I was mistaken it was only 7 that sent pre hire letters. Other companies I applied for sent me emails asking me to call them but I didn't actually get pre hire letters from them.
Will age hurt me?

Seriously, all of these posters are correct. Even some of the "more physical" driving jobs will hire us old farts, if they can get us, and we aren't too seriously crippled up. I worked local pickup and deliver for the last several years before I hung it up, and I only hung it up because of repeated injuries. -
In other words OP , you are never to old.. -
Get on with a company that governs their trucks. Since you already have an AARP card driving in the granny lane will come naturally to you.

An' I really resents th term "GRANNY LANE!" Don't us grandpas deserve a lane too. . . -
Thanks Matski, it seems like these are the ones that are always ready to hire from what I see. I have read good and bad about so many companies its hard to keep them straight.
I started a notebook of all the companies I hear about and someday I will just make a decision which one I want to go with. I am not in a hurry but just looking ahead.
Thanks for the info !!!!
