If you filled out the applications exactly as requested and are completely honest during an interview, you should be OK. For example, on the application "have you had a DUI within the last 7 years?" The answer is "No." If asked during an interview,"have you EVER had a DUI in your lifetime?" The answer is "YES, 17 years ago."

Some companies give an "integrity interview" and they will ask a question they already know the answer from something in your background check. "Have you EVER had a DUI?" They already know the correct answer which is "Yes, 17 years ago."

Very intuitive, what you have suggested is more or less exactly what i did, only as pertains to a school not a company.

try getting a lifetime mvr, if florida offers that. i bet it'll show up there.

in utah. you can order the standard 3 year or lifetime.

also, anytime you get arrested. you get a scar on your criminal background. and there's only one check. and that's LIFETIME. no going back ONLY 3 or 7 years. it's your history. it will pop up there. only way to get rid of that, is to apply for expungement. something you'll seriously want to consider doing. you'll be better off in the long run.

    Please remember,

they can find driving issues at other agencies besides the DMV.

    NDR for example.

What amazes me is the question being asked in today's full disclosure era.

Companies can and often do a full disclosure background check, this includes a driving history - complete history. It is easy to do now, a lot of services can do it for a reasonable cost.
