Clarify something for me. PennDOT closed all their offices, I was under the impression other states had also closed their respective DMVs, how are non-drivers able to get CDLs now?

Car sales are halted in the NE too, but I told a friend in OK and he was mind blown. I guess they don't have the restrictions there that we do.

So are there states that still have DMVs open still?

Say again? You do realize that the deficit is exploding, almost 30M have been thrown out of work, and tax revenues in many states have been decimated, right? Or that food banks are being overrun with people with their hands out. Or that schools have been completely ahut down which ia stunting the devemlopment of who knows how many children in America. The list goes on and on. How can anyone NOT be angry over whats going on? I guess just take another xanax and vape some more weed then veg out and watch netflix for 12 hours???

    You misunderstood.

You asked why there isn't rioting in the streets. We still have enough bread & circuses to keep the masses in doors. People might not have cash-money but their plastic still works.

    Turn all that off?

    No Amazon home delivery.
    No ATMs
    No YouTube, Twitter, Zoomor TikTok?

I think that would be enough to push the majority over the edge.

That is nothing new. The northeast is older, more full of university safe havens and more in love with immigrants from hostile foreign countries than the rest of USA. Its the california of the eastern seaboard. Amherst mass city council offered asylum and wanted to import islamic arab refugees while they were cutting american heads off on al jazeera every day. The place is a location with a lot of active measures being played out, a lot of infiltrators. Its gonna have more extreme "stupidity" thats been planned out 3 moves ahead.

In 1973 there was a fuel shortage in new england. gas rationing by license plate, huge lines, extreme costs. It wasnt going on in indiana. Theyd never heard of it. Manufactured.

I was just in south florida all month. Theyd all heard of the roadblocks to get into the state that did not exist, but not of the horrible crop losses in the everglades that was news in atlanta.

Dont trust what you cant verify.

The other thing is we have about 8 states in less space than Texas. (And Long Island, but everybody hates that place. For that matter, Puerto Rico is practically part of NYC, just separated by ocean.)

So 9 state (protectorate) governments, plus NYC which is almost a state by itself. That's a lot of government bureaucracy to work through.

Question still stands: where are there DMVs still open? Because that's news to us in the NE.

Heck, my uncle dodged a bullet with that tornado that hit Nashville. You don't hear anything else about it because that was the last thing before all hell broke loose. I can't imagine they've been able to rebuild much with all the restrictions. And my understanding is the south KEEPS getting peppered with storms.

It stopped 15 miles from me and is still a wreck. There are barn roofs stuck up in the trees all around my house, but we were fine. Thank you Jesus.

My mother lost half her house in the hurricane TWO YEARS AGO around panama city and the whole region is just starting to get back to normal. No one even remembers that.

The news has a 15 minute attention span unless its politics. Then it cant look away. Hurricanes unite americans. Politics divide.
