    Ain't THAT the truth! Fuel gauge in the wife's Suburban would run all of the way to E. Speedometer never really worked, though, and when the odometer also quit, I put all new gauges in. Left on a road trip the next day and ran it plum out of gas still showing 5/16 of a tank...10 miles away from where I had intended to pull in for fuel. Now, we stop when the gauge gets to 1/2, since that's the new 1/4.

    Just 'cuz the gauge says you've got fuel doesn't mean you do.

    Guessing since Dave only hits TA's that he has a NASTC fuel card. I fuel in Vegas vs Kingman quite often because the discount up there is better. Not today ... its .09 cheaper in AZ
