You need to get a job, any job. Stick it out for three years to prove you have gone straight and will be dependable. Save up some money and go to school to get a CDL. Than you can get a OTR job to give some experience.

Only back in 2012 and last year,,sorry but any good employer will not want to hire you until you have a few years with proven good behavior and a turn around in your life,,one thing for sure you will not get in any air force base and many military bases period,,
I remember my Dad telling me when I was young many times,,"Son Don't Get In Trouble With The Law Because It Can Keep You From Getting A Good Job In The Future"
You can join the teamsters they have a lot of former criminals that members of teamster as well as other unions,,

Your getting them. You made some terrible choices , no female made you make them. With that kind of record good luck with a decent company , anytime in the near or far future. The theft will hurt the most. Petty or not. You can't expect a company to put you in a 6 figure piece of equipment , pulling maybe up to or over a 7 figure payload. The trust just isn't there , since you've proven you aren't worthy of trust. Not being harsh , just honest. Way too many folks that have made much better choices and stayed out of trouble going after the same jobs you are.

Get some kind of job. Whatever it is. Hold onto it for a few years then try to get into trucking. Most companies are looking for people who have had a steady job. Even with your criminal record....showing you had a steady work history will help open doors. Even if its for Western Express or Carolina Cargo.

I would say screw the steady work history and get your CDL but I have my doubts if you've really grown out of this man-child behavior. Get your life in order.

Try expunging your record. Everyone deserves a second chance. Don't listen to some of these guys on the forum - everyone has skeletons in their closet
