when you do get a job offer that you accept make sure you drive at least 6 months with them. That will help your odds if you want to move to a better company. Accident/speeding/traffic violation free would help as well. Stop excessive speeding your career depends on it. 5 over, nothing more.

Wherever I go, I plan to stay for a while year. It looks better on paper to see year vs months. Thanks for the advice, I'll do my best.

After three years it won't affect being hired . In the future plead not guilty and go to court . Always plead not guilty I've had speeding lowered to parking on pavement more than once .

I just thought I should update you guys on my situation so I finished my ged in February. Now I'm looking into funding for cdl school. The fort scott school is apparently no longer an option (ks works said the program no longer exists there). Got a phone number to call about wioa and a pamphlet for Washburn tech where the instructor that taught at Fort scott is now. I'll be calling about the wioa tomorrow and let you all know what I find out. Thank you to everyone here that offered advice, I really appreciate it.

    Update:
Called the number I was given yesterday about wioa and she needs pay stubs for the last 6 months. She told me that I need to make less than $13,000 for that 6 month period. I'm a few hundred dollars over that mark but I live paycheck to paycheck so saving money is pretty difficult to do because after all bills are paid and I've got food for the month, I'm broke. Any ideas on what else to do?
