OK, then perhaps you should attempt to make contact with the California Attorney General's Office. I still think you need to get yourself an attorney. Particularly when this department is blowing you off.

 

You know you really have no idea what this jerk knew before he came to your door. He could have already run your plate and licence. It might be interesting to file for a copy of all voice and data that past to and from this jerks car. They would have to provide it under the freedom of information act. Remember 98% of all cops are hard working good people, we just have to worry about the remaining 2%.

There is this one little thing called internal affairs that must take your complaint. Look up the number and call them. They will take your complaint. The department will have an internal affairs unit, they must in order to maintain their accreditation. Or go down to the station and file it in person. This case sounds extreme, if it is legit then get yourself down there instead of soliciting sympathy here.
Go to the Stanislous County SO website and click the drop down on the left, there is a tab called Internal Affairs. There is a citizens complaint form there.
If you want something done about this then this is where you start.
If everything you say is true then you should be in good shape after making contact with internal.

My guess is he had a pretty good idea of who he was dealing with before he ever knocked on the door. Not to many cops that will approach drug dealers in the dead of night all by themselves without backup.
My opinion is he either spotted her earlier and thought he would mess with her, or some jerk nearby was in need of some entertainment that night.

 

Write a letter of complaint and then move on. Be civil and polite in the letter. Maybe the LEO will learn something from it, maybe he won't. Maybe he will do it again and again and one day end up shot, then they can go back and read your letter and say they should have seen it coming.

Either way, getting a lawyer and pursuing that avenue will frustrate you, piss of the cops and make the lawyer richer. It sucks, move on.

Or......

Find out where the cop lives and go bustin' into his house in the middle of the night heavily armed with 20 people. Then when he is cowering in the corner whimpering like a little girl, tell him, "oops, wrong house."

Writing a letter is allowing behavior, and thought process' like this to continue unabated. We are a country of laws and everyone from Joe the Bum to Obummer the schmoe have to abide them. If this officer crossed a line he should be held accountable!




I surely hope your second nonesense is in jest. He would be well within his rights to neutralize the lot of you, and if he has had any training at all he stands a chance of neutralizing most, wearing a very big smile.

What illogical thought process makes people think being an azzhat to an azzhat does anything other than make you both azzhats??????????
