Posting "who cares" does not promote any type of help. The link was posted to the source, but comments like "who cares" does not show to new drivers the "Brotherhood" of the Professional Drivers. You could have not made the comment and all would be well, but posting the comment only strengthens the image of the truck driver that Professional Drivers do not help each other. I for one would probably not seek advice from you since your words give me no warm and fuzzy that you are available for advice that is going to help me in any endeavor that I seek.

Whoa whoa whoa... He asked a question and his thread was high jacked.

My concerns regarding the OP original post is this....

Why don't you contact your original school and request a test date. Get your CDL and work where you want?

What you presented is a reasonable accommodation. I need to work and I require more than two days notice. Also, I need my test date to be accurate. I would ask for and try to get this done.

At this point, I assume you have made some kind of financial investment. Even better if you used a government grant or something because you can go to their administrator and ask them to intervene on your behalf.

Using a lawyer to secure a test date and additional practice and working where you want would be another option. Because it will be cheaper than getting trained by someone else and taking a paycut for at least a year while you work off a contract.

A passport is a legal valid form of id. I've presented it to officials all over the world and in the U.S and no one has ever questioned mine. As far as driving job is concerned you'll have to show that you have a class A license and a driver's license is it.
