You're fine. In this market, as long as youre willing to work and have a half decent record, you'll get a job in no time flat. Hope your medical situation turns out ok for you.

Having to get home due to a medical issue is the most understandable reason to quit a company besides not getting paid. You should NOT leave the industry thinking moving from one company to another so soon dooms your career. It does not, especially these days with the difficulty getting drivers.

Thanks I was worried for a minute because job hopping in a general is a bad look. I was thinking about going with Swift or XPO. I spoke to a recruiter at Swift and they said they have dedicated and a Texas regional account. I'm going to wait until after I go to the doctor until I make my next move.

On SOME job applications I've seen the question "How many employers have you had in the last 5 years?" They are usually only asking about trucking jobs. There are lots of drivers that make a career working at companies for 1-3 years. A very few most selective companies won't likely hire them. I'm guessing the companies that won't hire "job hoppers" with a series of 1-3 year jobs might be 10-15%, maybe less. I suspect an experienced driver with a history of staying 5 years or more with a company before changing could get hired for everything except maybe moving Top Secret alien space ships for the govt. It's good to know beforehand what things COULD make you less attractive at the MOST selective companies so you can avoid doing those things, but you don't have to be anywhere near perfect to work at great companies or have a great or long career in trucking. I'm a worrier and planner by nature. I'm convinced there is always one little insignificant detail I never dreamed of that will cause some sort of permanent road block to some future plan if mine. Trucking industry is generally very forgiving of most mistakes, except serious crashes or fatalities, and drug use. This ain't brain surgery. Not being perfect is not going to limit you from working for almost anyone. Worrying too much or being super-critical will hurt you also. Give yourself a break. Once you see how imperfect many of us in the industry are you can relax a bit about what it takes.

No I have my own health insurance through BCBS. It's through the marketplace not through the company.
