Profile says you are a student and you had a trainee with you?? We need to know if that warning is an inspection report. It would be written on the top.

Don't ever feel trapped where you have to do illegal stuff. Report them if you feel that threatened. There are laws to protect you. There's a whole world of opportunity where one doesn't have to get stuck. That's why you get one year OTR in and then go from there.

The company could of gave you a temporary registration to cover them vehicles. Sounds like a yahoo operation. It's your responsibility to check the permit book and make sure everything is up to date.

short answer is if he did a "DOT inspection" and noted it on the inspection then yes you get the point if he didn't do a dot inspection or didn't note it on a dot inspection then NO CSA POINTS

csa points come from two places and ONLY two places dot inspection or accident reports.

DOT reports are now electronic and if you leave an inspection site and are stopped again an hour later in another state, that state can see where you were stopped and when, etc. Before they used to be mailed in and it use to take up to 14 days to show up, now its immediate.

you've got a family relying on you, but if you keep this up, you will be flipping hamburgers. Your CDL, protect it. When you are no longer of any use to the company as your CSA score is too high, you will get booted and a new rookie will continue the cycle.

First thing you do when getting into a NEW truck , yeah we know used but new to the fleet is grab the paper work! No paper work in the truck then walk into the office and get it or the temporary OR screw the family! No CDL you're back at whereever it was you came from! SCREW the company also! IF they say drive the truck I would drive the truck! The one you got to work in and go home and look for someone thats NOT going to kill your CDL with points! Is that check worth it compared to the crap you went throug just to go drive for what is fast becoming a BFI in my book of experence!

Remember...No paperwork in the truck no key in the ignition! It does not leave the yard or where ever it's sitting until there is SOME kind of registration in it as in a temp and the insurance! Guess who gets the ticket and points if it had been a write up? You get all the points and if the company doesn't pay the ticket guess who might?
Protect that CDL and screw the company! They probably won't even back you up on the one you got!

Some of them are still stuck back in the ice ages and don't and sometimes never think that what happens to you now happens to both of you! Your points become theirs and that's not gonna be fun!

since no one answered your question I will...yes it probably will show up on CSA, even warnings show up. good news is it's probably only 2-3 pts. However it also shows up on the company. Remember paperwork is part of your pti.

I said in an earlier post that it would probably go on your csa report, now after rereading your post, it sounds like once the company sends the registration to the sheriff's office, they will dismiss any violation. make sure it is done.
