I hear that! Everyone is scared at my yard, Reddaway, that they are eventually going to make us pay for our benefits. Already did it to management a while back. They went from paying nothing to paying 300 a month! Even my supervisor said "benefits are paid by the company for the time being" and explained to me they are all just waiting for the day to come when the drivers will have to pay some or all of it. It sure helps offset the lousy starting pay we get at Reddaway. If we have to pay for our benefits then I want an extra 5 cpm like most other LTL companies get.
will this hurt YRC

YRC has been in financial trouble for so long that I don't even listen to the reports of them being close to going under anymore....
-
Sorry, this means nothing! YRC will milk it back to the appeals court for so many years and IF they have to pay, they will make such small payments it will never hurt the bottom line.

Everything seems to hurt YRC now .. I could be wrong on this but didn't they recently dump Glenmoore not to long ago YRC Glenmoore the YRC Non- Union Savior to all the YRC problems but they dumped them to I think Celeadon but I could be wrong on that

They aren't hiring in southern California now and things seem to be slowing down out here.
