Will we see $5.00 a gallon deisel fuel?

I got curious and did some looking at the crude prices.

February 2009 was even better. Another one in late 2008.

 

I want to go back to 2005 when things were so much simpler and I had a better paying job at the time

Who cares about 2005. Lets roll back prices , cost of living, wages, etc., back to the good old days of say 1965. Back when you could fill your tank for a couple of bucks. Since we are fantasizing.

Oh, since I got sidetracked with my fantasy of time travel back in time. Now let me answer the original question: Will we see $5.00 a gallon diesel fuel? Hard question, yes we will and possible higher then that in the future. Although, like all the others, I hope not.
