    I used to sleep a lot as well but being a trucker makes you tougher and able to handle things that you never thought possible. I could drive 11 hours straight on 3 hours sleep but can't do that anymore due to 8 hour rule.

    Best rule is to know your own limitations...nobody is the same...once you get tired , and you know it STOP....this ain't rocket science folks. Never has there been no need to drive sleepy.....maybe some guys can be fooled/talked into/ job threatened into doing it , but it is still left up to the individual.....that decision is entirely on the driver...
