I'm in a 2019 Cascadia, I installed a perch and a Wilson 2000 on the driver's side door and ran new coax to the radio. When to test swr and my ant warning comes on during keyup. Checked everything with multimeter 0 ohms at each part. Leaned it forward more at about 10 o'clock. Still get the warning. Swr reads over 3, I'm at a loss where to go from hear. Any help would be appreciated.

I used a multimeter. I just checked them again from the cb side of the coax. I get 0 ohm from the center pin to the antenna and 0 ohms from the threaded barrel to the mount.

What's the resistance from the antenna mount to your radio ground wire?

Well, your coax seems to be fine. Are you using the internal SWR meter? I'm assuming it's a Cobra 29LX, I have one and used the same antenna with the same results until it was properly grounded with 18" or less lengths of braided grounding straps. On mine, the internal meter was inaccurate as most are so I purchased an external meter (around $20) and found it to be very useful on multiple antennas. I'd go from there and work your way through the system. If you can, run your radio power wires (not your antenna ground) directly to your battery with an in-line fuse for added insurance. With the straps ground from the mirror mount to the top hinge of the door then from the bottom hinge to the body and from there to the frame. There are much more experienced people on this forum than myself, hopefully they will chime in(Rabbi's a good one)!

It's kind of hard to troubleshoot without an antenna analyzer. If there's no resonant frequency, there's most likely a ground problem. An swr meter can only go where the radio goes.

I have both. The internal meter reads slightly lower. My external meter puts the swr at 3.4

Just for heck of it I would try a different coax cable. No need to properly route it, this is just a test

    At what point does X=0?
    What's the impedance at resonance?
    SWR means nothing.
