wilson 5000 question

    Thanks Handlebar, all your posts have been very helpful and much appreciated. Right now I have both a 4' Firestik from my old jeep and the Wilson 5000 from a now retired work truck. I'm not in a rush but am excited to get started as I've got some time off of work and the weather has started to break, so I do intend to try each setup. The truck is a diesel btw.

    The performance of the 5000 might be enough to convince me to keep it on the roof but if the 'glass stick on the bedrail performs well enough I may end up just looking for a nice high quality fiberglass whip.

    You've given me a lot to think about with my setup and cleared up many of my questions.
