I have been here almost a month as a lease driver, there have been a couple hiccups, that is to be expected pulling a reefer, the rates are staying 1.50 to 1.70 to the truck, I am making the high weekly payments without any issues running 2300 to 2700 loaded miles a week, I have not been east of Texas yet, and I am loving it, wide open spaces little traffic. Truck is averaging 7.9 to 8.5 mpg depending on load and terrain. Will update more later
Wiltrans/Jim Palmer anyone?

If those numbers hold up you should do well.
-
Yeah I've leased before, have a good idea how to make it, it's all about the right attitude, anD the right carrier.
-
Do you get any options to loads?
-
No,but you can turn down freight if it does not work for you,

I have my application being reviewed by jim palmer. I talked to mr luke riley and he told me that my application is being reviewed. Heres my question if my application is approved but the next class is full what happens. Mr riley told me that for the most part the classes are small about 5 people. So what happens if 20 people are approved are they just spread out over classes

I talked to a JPT/Wil-Trans recruiter last week. He said it's about a four week wait to get into a class. I have two accidents over the last 3.5 years. Was not ticketed for either one. He wasn't too hopeful but said to send them the accident reports so they could look at them. He said generally they want a clean 5 year record.
