Take that extra that you folded and stick it behind so its pinned between the strap and the trailer. The way you have it now will come out soon as you start rollingShawn2130, 650cat425 and farmerjohn64 Thank this.

Yeah I thought that might happen, that’s how I’ve done all my other ones (behind the strap), maybe I just misinterpreted tibbits’ methodJonJon78 Thanks this.

You have the right idea it just needs to be flipped around. I personally dont use that method.
I roll them up around the winch, that's just how I like it and have always done it. Just personal preference. Nothing wrong with either way.farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -
Yes except i put the exces underneat the strapfarmerjohn64 Thanks this.

This time I came in through the rear (don’t laugh) when I fed the strap through the winch

Your getting the right idea. Take your hands and push them all together so everything is in nice formation before you fully tighten it. Nice & Neat.
D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
And that strap looks to have a cut/fringe in it, I can't tell how deep it is but you gotta watch that, otherwise if the DOT sees that you might be getting some unwanted attention... Might be time to toss that strap in the trash.
Nostalgic, D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Yeah I seen that too, all these straps are worn pretty much and I’m pretty much broke

WE should be providing without question good working securement equipment for you considering you're a company driver.
Maybe soon you'll get a trip passing through the terminal in Nashville so you can stock up on essentials needed to succeed out here.650cat425, D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this.
