My grandparents from massachusetts used to say that and id never heard anyone else, chalked it up to them being oddballs. Maybe it was picked up during Pa's time in the corps.

We had the contract to furnish the Dallas zoo with alfalfa. The boss used lumpers to unload here, I didn't like them, plus had to take the stack apart and restack it several times that they had done it.
I would just unload myself, but it is always hot and humid in Dallas, double that inside of a barn, so it tok me a while.
One trip I somehow got there with out my gloves, and my hands werre sore and bleeding pretty good by he time I was half unloaded. I dropped the trailer and went to the closest store to get some sort of gloves, and next to it was an apartment building. A gal was on the second store balcony eyeballing me when , I thought she thought I got out of the truck, I thought she thought I was good looking all hot and sweaty and covered in hay dust. lol
Anyway, she was standing at the truck , when I came out and offered her services for a price. I told her I was too tired to do her any good, but would pay her some pretty good bucks to come help me finish unload. -
