Some of those Santa Anna winds are tricky too.

Western Nebraska has closed I80 due to dust, poor visibility and winds.123456 Thanks this. -
Just don't come to North Dakota today, gusts in the 50-75 mph range. My windspeed thing here at home has been showing a constant 30+ mph and been hitting 60+ on and off. Kinda glad we got shut down today. Roads are wet and covered with slimy mud because of sugar beet harvest.

Make sure your weights is good if you move the tandems.
I'm in Lincoln now, came up from Denver. Was a bit Windy today.
There was a Prime laying on its side just before the I76/80 Split 10 miles West of there or sobullhaulerswife and 123456 Thank this. -
I am so glad they closed it. I was on I-80W this morning with around 40-50 wind gusts and a 75,000 load. Got blown all over the place. Pretty bad. Got to the Petro to scale the truck and couldn't get the door open long enough to push the call button on the scale. Almost would rather drive in snow; either way they are both four letter words
