Something like this would work if you never need to change lanes while driving. And as a bonus, no holes cut in the sleeper.

 

I had a similar setup for the truck stops. I'm in the middle of refining it. I just picked up a 12,000 btu mini split.

What setup are you running? Or do you take the easy way out and idle? Just curious, who's paying for your diesel?.......

I don't know what is wrong with the a/c and I'm a nobody.

 

I'm running something similar to the Frankencooler, but I use Styrofoam coolers since they save weight.

 

Oh, thank God. I was worried the container ships of the world would override your effort, but I think it's even.

 

Rip out the compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier, lines, TEV, switches......it's brand new. Tear it all out and start over. Dump every bit of PAG oil, measure it, refill it. Now you're back to brand new. If you haven't done that, then you haven't done "everything". You've done "some things".

Grab that WalMart A/C, some duct tape, and get after it. With a name like "Chicago", it's what we expect.
