I don't know where people get there info. But it looks like a few people already straightened the issue of tinting down to a certain percentage as being legal.

That static tint has me interested. I wonder if they run it in a 35%

I'd really like to get my brow done.

I am gona roll the dice and run with the static until I can order the clear uv blocker from 3m.
"What tint officer I don't know what your talking about?" As I rip it off the window and eat it before he comes up to my door. :p

I have skin cancer, Basal Cell. It's the minor kind, won't kill you but if you don't get it treated it will eat away at your skin and get larger over the years.
When I first had it show up the doctor noticed that it was all on the left side of my face. He wondered why, then he asked the question... "Are you a truck driver?"
I've looked into UV tint, but technically we are not allowed it at all in Western Canada. All though some of the 3M stuff I might be able to get away with. Haven't tried it yet though.

    Officer: Is that window tinted?
Driver: F off I have cancer!
I give you a 50-50 chance of making it to the next encounter....

I met an old timer who's left side of his face was all droopy and wrinkled. His left arm was also more freckled and he had a bandage where he had a biopsy done for a cancer screen. Long term sun exposure can be brutal. I always forget the sun screen and end up with a super tan left arm from driving. My face doesn't get it as bad in my FLD classic, but I used to feel a little beat up in my old truck.

I've considered a tint on my driver side, but I can barely see out the passenger mirror as it is.

Uncleal13 very sorry to hear about your condition. That is the exact reason I'm gonna roll the dice on this one until I get the 3m product.
I figure if I happen to get popped for it. It's not like it will be a moving violation and since it's peel off I am thinking/hoping it will be a warning.
Plus I will be rolling my windows down every time I see a cop or enter scale.
Risk a $150 ticket or risk having the same issue as Uncleal13 (no offense).

Even putting sunscreen on everyday could be harmful if it's not some organic type.

And.... what's the difference between this static product or a suction cup pull down sun shade.

At least with this static product I can still see out my mirror.
How do you see your mirrors with one of those mesh pull down things?

Why don't you guys do like the drivers that I see all the time, just pull the curtains ,behind the seat, all the way up to the vent window and cruise? o_O

This is not serious advice, rookies please refrain from heeding this advice as it seems potentially dangerous and it bothers me when I drive by your slow truck and realize I'm waving to a curtain....:D
