    I've had no problem with the pull down mesh. My door windows are way bigger then the roll down thing but you can see right though it from the inside and if there's ever a problem it's just a little button to press and it retracts like a old window blind.

    I used the spring loaded rollup shades. When I crossed the scales, I rolled them up then put them back up again after crossing the scales. Bought them at Walmart real cheap. Can get them at auto parts stores also.
    They don't block your vision and can see the mirrors perfectly.
