I have the 3M Christaline that RVTransporter linked to. It is clear and definitely blocks the heat that would normally come through the window. It is a little pricey, but for me well worth it.

The regulations says 70%, so clear this up, limo tint allows 5% light in. I have 70% tint on my windows. There is no factory tint on my truck windows. 393.60 section D is where you will find this. There are 70 and 80 percent films available, I use a 70% on my company truck. I even have 70% on my wind shield. No problems yet. You can't even tell I have tint on the windows, because it is that light!

all windows come with tint. have never seen plain white glass that allowed 100 % light transmittance yet. and i was a certified safety inspector for 12 years. most of you just don't realize it and haven't bothered looking.

roll your window down. look above and below. you'll see the difference in background shade.
there's a light app in the google play store. called light meter. for those that can't see the difference between window and above the window. -
that explains why the GA trooper was getting a 25 reading instead of 35 which is what i had put on this easter weekend while sitting at petro in west Memphis, no ticket but did get hit with a warning and an hour long level-III inspection.. gonna take 'em off even though they keep the cab cool, plus they look pretty sweet on my rig..trucking just aint fun man
