Yea, I would NOT suggest trying it out unless you are VERY good at computers! Plus there probably are a lot of security issues and such with it...most antivirus and spyware companies won't have stuff for it for quite some time after the BETA comes out...be careful.

I D/L it last night and plan on installing as a "dual-boot" on my desk-top at home. I just got a new lap top from DELL and I ain't screwing with that at all.

Anybody who would DL a Windows System Platform Beta has a lot of "courage," or...............:biggrin_25526:

My Sis got a new Dell Hybrid, while I was visiting and I got 'rail roaded' into xferring her progs & files over from XP (old) to Vista (new)...what a pain in the buttocks. Also got tired of the Vista "Allow?' message.......:biggrin_2551:

I got Vista home basic, 32 bit installed on my laptop. I've got most of the Aero eye candy turned off, and it runs well enough for now. I had planned on reformatting it when I bought it and putting my copy of XP when I got it in the mail last August, but I thought I'd give Vista a few days, and to this day it's still chugging away just fine. I knows it could be better though, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it right now. If I wasn't so much into gaming, I'd have Ubuntu Linux on this thing. It runs circles around anything Microsoft makes. The latest build of Ubuntu makes setting up a broadband aircard easy too. Maybe after I get tired of this HalfLife 2 Orange Box I'll switch it all over.

Disable the SOB. That was the first thing I done. After I saw that #### nag box pop up the second time.

Of course, if your sis is like mine. The best thing to do...is leave it enabled.

    Rookie,

    I got 3 keys LMAO.

    2 for the 32bit
    1 for the 64bit

My son and a friend are loading the 32bit. And I'm loading the 64bit, once my back-up is complete
