Get an empty a spray bottle at dollar general, the one about a foot tall and 5 inches across.....Fill with water mixed with windex....Plain water will do if you spray long enough....Put wipers on interrupt, stand outside truck and spray windows, works like a charm....The key is to buy a spray bottle that squirts a stream about 6 feet. Works like driving thru rain, all clear.

Dryer sheets. Wet the window and the dryer sheet and wipe the windshield down then rinse with water. Works like a charm, doesn't take up much space, and comes in handy on laundry day

Might seem odd, but I concocted my own cleaner.

    1/2 cup Fabuloso
A few squirts of laundry detergent
    1/2 cup brown Lysol

Stick it in a spray bottle, fill with water and shake it up. If the bug guts get too bad, pull over and spray with your wipers on high. Takes a minute, but gets the job done.

If you apply RainX, you have to let is sit, THEN, get a good microfiber rag and whip it till there's not a film on the glass, should be good to go then.

You have to be careful with some HOME MADE WINDOW CLEANING CONCOCTIONS as some might contain ingredients that will damage any painted surface it comes into contact with.

Not to mention giving off different fumes or gasses. I remember one time when someone mixed ammonia with bleach...

Adding a quart of rubbing alcohol to the reservoir will make a world of difference .

I have bought some of the more expensive spray can window cleaner and it really did not do much more for bugs than the cheap spray bottle.

My best results come for the cheapest window cleaner I can get at Walmart, spray in on heavy then let it soak in. Let it soak and lift the bugs off the window, spray down again, then use the windshield wipers and WW fluid finish it off.

Same at the truck stop, have squeegee to help, works great but the key is to let the cleaner / liquid soak as long as I am at the pump, then do the finish clean just as I am pulling away.
