Windshield Wipers clogged with ice

    I was having this problem last winter as well. My truck just had the oldschool "standard" type of wiper blades. I just replaced them with some frameless/beam style wiper blades and haven't had a problem since. They are more expensive, about $20/each or $40/pair, but well worth it.

    Yeah, I gave a bottle of my -30 to a driver from California the other day, all he had was water in his tank and it kept icing over.

    Used to be able to find prestone anywhere. Been a long time since it's been around.

    There's plenty of other stuff though. Found at parts stores and Walmart, etc.

    Prestone isn't the only game in town.

    I plugged it into the extension cord coming off my inverter, the same one that my Christmas lights were plugged into .
