I love about half way between Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia about 5 miles north of I-20 . We got so freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday morning turned to all rain Sunday afternoon. Roads were good, just wet never lost power. Company I work for does crane matts for Georgia Power my truck and one more we're loaded and on call all weekend, never needed us.

Well I was fortunate enough to get parked safely in Ohio and inside a brand new Loves w/hot coffee and showers. Looks like I'll be stuck here for a while. The snow and ice is on the ground now the temps will drop to around zero for as long as I can see. IMG_1949.jpeg

Not really sure when I'll be leaving with this amount of ice and no temps that can thaw it. Nobody is leaving their parking spots so far.

Ohio has lots of counties that are closed to all traffic except first responders, Indiana does also.

I'm not sure if it was the chance of freezing rain, or maybe just being that this storm hit here on a Friday, but I haven't heard of any major accidents near me. I'm a quarter mile from the fire station, and haven’t seen or heard a truck head out yet.

Pretty odd. There was a PAM truck that got sideways near the Van Buren scalehouse. Other than that, I haven’t heard of anything.

Honestly, I would've run with what we had here at the house. That's definitely a personal decision, and one you can't really make until you see how the roads turn out. I'm glad most have decided to wait it out. IMG_8960.jpg

Same here. I make probably half of mine.

Got inspected in Cortez and had forgot to make one for a load of hay. Just told the guy I bought it to resell. Maybe I got lucky, but he was good with it.
